KARACHI, March 30 : Armed men gunned down two people over personal enmity in North Karachi on Wednesday.
According to police, armed assailants opened fire at two people in Sector-11 of North Karachi, while they were present outside their home.
As a result of firing, one person identified as Zahid, was killed on the spot while his friend Muhammad Idrees sustained injuries.
The injured was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds during treatment.
Police said that the incident was outcome of personal enmity and a case has been registered against the assailants and search for them was underway.
Meanwhile, police arrested an accused of murder and several others crimes during a raid in Maripur area. Police also claimed to have recovered arms and other looted valuables from the detained culprit identified as Wajid.
