MULTAN, March 01 : Police arrested four members of an inter-provincial robber's gang and recovered looted valuables worth millions of rupees during a raid here on Tuesday.
According to details, Mumtazabad Police on a tip off raided a house in Jaleedabad area in Multan during which four bandits of a gang were nabbed.
The police also recovered looted valuables including Rs3.5 million cash, seven cars, nine motorcycles, gold jewellery and weapons from the possession of detained culprits.
The detainees identified as Sikandar, Faisal, Ashraf and Muhammad Ali were wanted to different police stations in various cases of robberies, pickets looting, cars and motorcycle snatching and killing people upon resistance during robbery attempts.
Superintendent Cantt Police, Mahmoodul Hassan while talking to media persons said that the police was conducting raids to arrest two more bandits of the same gang.
