KASUR, March 01 : Unidentified armed men gunned down a police sub-inspector in Mandi Usmanwala area near here on Tuesday.
According to police, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ishaq was coming back to Mandi Usmanwala from the District Police Officer Office when unknown motorcyclists opened fired at him. As a result, the sub-inspector was killed on the spot.
The Kasur DPO visited the crime scene and ordered immediate arrest of killers. Police cordoned off the area where the crime occurred and started search for the killers.
