GHOTKI, Feb 28 : Two dacoits were killed and a Station House Officer (SHO) martyred in exchange of fire between police and dacoits after they attacked a police mobile here on late Sunday night.
According to details, notorious dacoits Santoshar and his accomplices attacked mobile van of Ronti Police Station with rockets while it was on routine patrol.
The rockets partially damaged the mobile van resultantly killing SHO Muhammad Hanif Mangrio and injuring another cop.
In retaliation from police two dacoits were killed while their accomplices managed to flee from the scene.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for autopsy. Police said that killed dacoits were wanted by various police stations of the district in different crimes including robberies, pickets looting and
kidnapping.
