QUETTA, Feb 28 : Lawyers of Balochistan Monday boycotted courts proceedings in protest against kidnapping of Sessions and civil judges of Sibi and Bolan and three lawyers from different localities of province during past few days.
The call to boycott the court's proceedings till the recovery of kidnapped judges and lawyers was given by Balochistan Bar Association (BBA).
The lawyers overwhelmingly responded to the call of BBA and did not appear in the courts across the province.
President BBA Baz Muhammad Kakar talking to a private TV channel vowed to continue protest till the kidnapped judges were recovered.
He said that some elements were targeting people engaged with judiciary so as to halt the provision of justice as courts were completely independent in provision of justice and resolving masses problems.
