LAHORE, Dec 28 : Police Tuesday recovered dead body of a woman from Data Darbar Lahore.
According to police, the dead body of Barreeda, 26, hailing from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) was recovered from the chambers allocated for women at Data Darbar Lahore.
Muhammad Jamil, a cousin of the deceased, informed police that she had gone missing after her husband divorced her and snatched their children.
Later, heirs of Barreeda and police tried to trace her and found her dead at Data Darbar.
Police feared that the deceased might have committed suicide in disappointment after being divorced but heirs of the deceased blamed that she was killed by family of her husband.
The body was shifted to a local hospital for post mortem.
A case has been registered into the incident and police was trying to find the reasons behind the death.
