Four killed, two injured in Karachi violence

KARACHI, Dec 28 : Four persons were killed and two others injured in separate violent incidents in different areas of the mega city, police said.

Unidentified armed men gunned down Inam 35, in Aaram Bagh area of the city on late Monday night.

In Skindarabad locality of Liaqatabad armed assailants shot to death Shahid 26. Police said that the deceased was engaged in illegal drugs business and the shooting incident was outcome of financial dispute with drugs dealers.

Unidentified armed men gunned down Qadir Khan 25, in Pak Colony area of the city on early Tuesday morning. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for autopsy.

Two including an official of public information department, Ayaz Ahmed Khan were injured upon resistance during street crimes in Landhi Town.

In Korangi area one Akbar, gunned down wife of his elder brother intimate after seeing them engaged in immoral activities. The deceased were identified as Roohi Bano 34, and Sanaullah 38.

The murderer voluntarily presented his arrest to police after committing the murder.

The bodies were taken to Jinnah Hospital where they were handed over to heirs after conducting autopsy and fulfilling other legal requirements.

Meanwhile, car lifters deprived citizens of 16 vehicles and 42 motorcycles in different localities of the city.

Police have registered separate cases in all incidents at concerned police stations and investigations were underway.
