PML-N accepts MQM’s challenge for a debate: Pervaiz Rasheed

LAHORE, Dec 28 : Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Tuesday accepted challenge given by Muttahida Qaumi Movement for a public debate.

Talking to media persons, senior leader of PML-N, Punjab government spokesman Senator Pervaiz Rasheed said that MQM chief Altaf Hussain challenged PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif for a public debate.

“Our Quaid has accepted the challenge and a message has been conveyed to MQM for selection of time and venue,” he added.

Raheed said his party believed in politics and had never spoken language of “bullets”. He also contradicted that Nawaz Sharif had targeted anyone in his address to public gathering in Muzaffarabad.

He said that Nawaz Sharif only wanted to draw attention toward incident of May 12 occurred in Karachi which left several innocent people life.

In a telephonic address to the party leaders and workers on Tuesday morning, MQM chief Altaf Hussain had challenged Nawaz Sharif for a public debate.
