Shahzain Bugti arrested with 17 others

QUETTA: The law enforcement agencies captured large quantity of arms and ammunition from the motorcade of Shahzain Bugti near Baleli checkpost in the vicinity of Quetta.Shahzain Bugti, the chief of Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) Balochistan and grandson of slain Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, has been detained along with 17 others. Police and Frontier Constabulary stopped the motorcade of Shahzain Bugti at Baleli checkpost, searched the vehicles and found large quantity of arms and munitions including 40 Klashnikovs, two LMG rifles, two rocket launchers and more than 50,000 rounds. Shahzain Bugti was returning to Quetta from Chaman.President Jamhoori Watan Party Talal Bugti has said in a statement that Shahzain will be expelled from the party if the reports of illegal arms from his possession will prove correct.
