KARACHI, June 23 : A couple was killed apparently in an incident of target killing here in Orangi Town on Wednesday.
According to police, gunmen broke into a house located in Frontier Colony of Shahiabad in Orangi Town, Karachi, and opened fire at a woman, killing her on the spot.
The assailants later tracked her husband Khan ud Din, who was standing at a milk shop near his home and shot and injured him fatally.
The injured was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The attackers managed to flee from the scene after the incident.
"Police reached the scene late as usual," local sources said.
"We have moved the bodies to hospital and we are investigation the
incident," local police said.
Police sources said the deceased couple was hailing from Bajour Agency and started living in Karachi after their marriage.
