IDPs of Attaabad Lake decline to live in relief camps

GILGIT, May 19 : The Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Attaabad Lake had declined to live in the relief camps established by the government due to insufficient facilities.

According to sources, the (IDPs) of Attaabad Lake refused to live in the relief camps established by the government in Nofal village due to insufficient facilities and unhygienic conditions.

It is pertinent to mention here that local administration had estavlished more than 30 relief camps for the IDPs fearing any immediate burst in the Attaabad Lake , but the people who were brought in these camps refused to live in these camps. They also demanded of the authorities to provide basic facilities to them in these camps.
