HBL donates Rs. 10 mln for Attaabad Lake victims

GILGIT, May 19: Habib Bank Limited has donated Rs. 10 millions for affecttees of the Attaabad Lake victim.

Sources told INP here on Wednesday that Area Chief Habib Bank Limited Gilgit-Baltistan Jahanzeb Mir handed over the cheque of Rs. 10 millions to Governor Dr. Shamma Khalid when he called on her here at Governor’s House.

On this occasion, the Governor Gilgit-Baltistan lauded the efforts of HBL and thanked top officials of the Bank for demonstrating generosity saying that it was the moral and religious responsibility of the entire nation to help the Attaabad Lake victims.

The Area Chief HBL Jehanzeb Mir said that Habib Bank would stand by the people of Gilgit Baltistan and Attaabad at this critical juncture.
