ISLAMABAD, Feb 15 : A three member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has completed hearing of the case regarding promotions in civil bureaucracy from BPS 21 to 22.
In his remarks, the Chief Justice said verdict of the case will be delivered soon.
Attorney General Anwar Mansoor in his written statement, submitted that the promotions have been made in accordance with the rules and regulations. He requested the court not to revoke the promotions as the Prime Minister has made these promotions by using his discretionary powers.INP
