MULTAN, Feb 16: Bahauddin Zakriya University was closed on Tuesday and papers cancelled after a clash between students and Police.
According to reports, the University had received information that outsides were staying in the hostels of the university. During search operation, 19 miscreants were arrested and two hostels were sealed.
Police used lathi charge to disperse the protesting students.
A spokesman for the University confirmed that the examination papers scheduled for Tuesday were cancelled. However he said the university will resume its normal functions on Wednesday.
