Six youth being trained as suicide bombers by Taliban presented before media

MINGORA, Jan 08: The security forces on Friday presented six youth before the media, who were being trained for carrying out suicide attacks by Taliban and were captured by the security forces some days back.

The children aged between 12 to 16 years were identified as Shah Hussain, Amanullah, Zakirullah, Hazrat Bilal, Ziaur Rehman and Rehmatullah.

The forces captured them in tehsil Matta, Swat few days back. The children who were to be called as the suicide bombers told media that they were kidnapped from schools and homes on gunpoint. However, after finding a chance to flee, they came to security forces.

On this occasion, father of a militant commander was also brought to the media.


They said that they were being trained by Taliban in the training camps and they were being given training of different types of launching terrorist attacks.

On the other hand, Pakistan army reconstructed 33 schools, 13 bridges and 12 basic health units in Swat, military officials told media.

Major General Sajjad Ghani, the Operational Commander in Swat told media that the military operation in Swat has been completed. The number of killed terrorists during Swat military operation is 2000 while 800 terrorists were captured, he added.

The security forces also recovered hundreds of Kalashnikovs, pistols, thousands of bullets and a cache of other arms from the raided area. INP
