OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Violent clashes broke out Saturday between Israeli troops and Arabized undercover units on the one side, and Palestinian young men on the other side after a large force of troops tried to storm Silwan district in the holy city.
The young men bravely confronted the Israeli troops and clashed with them in the vicinity of the sit-in tent in Al-Bustan neighborhood and near Bir Ayoub mosque.
The troops intensively fired rubber bullet, and tear gas and stunt grenades at the young men who responded with stones and empty bottles.
Local sources said that Arabized units tried to round up some young men in Ein Al-Luza area, but the young men was able to identify them and foil their attempts.
A number of citizens suffered tear gas suffocation and the troops were reportedly able to kidnap three young men in Ein Luza.
