PESHAWAR, Aug 14 (APP): The Independence Day celebrations began with the gun salute of 21 shots here on Sunday morning. The ceremony was held at historic Jinnah Park with the dawn of the Independence Day. The national flag was hoisted on all government buildings. Special prayers and Quraan Khawanis were held for the integrity and solidarity of the country.
