Karachi : A member of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) in Karachi was shot dead on Saturday evening, according to police.
Witnesses said that gunmen had opened fire on the car of Amir Shah, chairman of the employees' union at Pakistan International Airlines.
He was rushed to hospital but died from his injuries. Another person in the car was also killed.
The gunmen fled and no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
