Violence claims seven more lives in turbulent Karachi

KARACHI, April 19 : Seven more people were killed in separate incidents of target killing and firing and crimes in Karachi on Tuesday, police said.

Despite tall claims made by the government and city administration, assassins are targeting innocent citizens at will.

In the latest incident, two people were gunned down in the metropolis.

Police told the media that a 40 year old man's bullet riddled body was found under a bridge in Lasbela's Gulbahar area.

The body of 21 year old Najmul Haq was found from Sirajul Dola College's ground near Karimabad area. The victim was a resident of Apsara Apartments.

Ziaullah, 32, was gunned down by unidentified people at Jogi Mour in Landhi. 22 year old Naseem succumbed to his injuries at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital after he was injured in a firing incident in Surjani Town's Sector 7.

The bullet riddled body of a 25 year man was found near Degree College, Korangi. Sources said that the victim was kidnapped earlier.
