NASEERABAD, April 19 : Three drivers were kidnapped by unknown persons in Naseerabad during Monday night.
Aggravated over the kidnapping incident transporters resorted to strong protest and blocked Sindh-Balochistan National Highway.The 10-hour blockage led to massive traffic jams on the highway.
Protesting transporters said that unknown gunmen abducted three drivers last night but administration could not recover the abductees so far.
They said that the blockage would continue unless the abducted drivers were not recovered by security agencies.
They also called for deployment of Frontier Corps to maintain law and order in the troubled region.
