Raja Riaz for registering case against CM over patients deaths

LAHORE: Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz, has said that a case will be registered against Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for the deaths of several patients at government-run hospitals in the province.

Expressing solidarity with Young Doctors Association (YDA), he urged the Punjab government to accept every demand of protesting doctors.

Meanwhile Leader of the protesting doctors Aamir Bandisha has been arrested while six other doctors have given their resignation.The ultimatum given by the doctors will also ended on Saturday. The Young Doctors' Association's (YDA) strike continued in Punjab's hospitals on 33rd consecutive day Saturday. Jinnah Hospital Lahore' 500 and Punjab Institute of Cardiology's 120 doctors have submitted their resignations.Sources said that the Punjab government mulls over arrest and registering case against protesting doctors.
