Miscreants kill two Punjabi labourers in Quetta

QUETTA, April 18 : Two labourers were killed and three others injured after unidentified armed men opened fire at their residential camp located near site of a development project.

According to Levies some labourers working on Barkhan-Pir Shah Muhammad
Road project had setup a tent residence in Lathibar area. On late Sunday night unidentified armed men opened fire at the camp where the labourers were sleeping and fled away from the scene.

Two labourers identified as Muhammad Bux and Sajid were killed on the spot while three others Hameed, Jan Khan and Rabnawaz sustained injuries. The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital by Levies personnel.

The Levies sources said that the deceased and injured labourers hailed from different areas of Punjab.

Some sources claimed that targeted killing incident was part of the policy by some Baloch miscreants to force the labourers and people of other provinces to leave Balochistan.

Meanwhile citizens and local political leaders have strongly condemned theincident and said that conspiracies being hatched to create tension between Punjab and Balochistan would not be allowed to succeed.
