Three perish in Rahimyar Khan road accidents

RAHIMYAR KHAN, March 29 : Three persons were killed and another sustained injuries in separate road accidents in different localities of Rahimyar Khan on Tuesday.

According to police, the first accident took place in Kotla area where a motorcyclist identified as Falak Sher sustained injuries after being hit by a reckless driven tractor. He was being shifted to hospital but succumbed to his wounds on the way.

Muhammad Murtaza, 25, a resident of Kot Samaba, was killed after his motorcycle collided with a tractor coming from opposite direction, while negotiating a sharp turn near Wahi Shah Muhammad area.

A speeding car crushed to death a motorcyclist identified as Rohab, 22. The deceased hailed from Kashmore area of Sindh.

In yet another incident, one person, identified as Noor ul Ameen, 16, sustained injuries after his motorcycle skid off road and hit an electric poll at Abu Dhabi Road. The injured was shifted to hospital where according to hospital sources his condition was serious.

Separate cases in all incidents have bee registered at concerned police stations and investigations were underway.

  1. Driving need our full attention, looking away for a second can cause an accident. Activities like changing the stereo, using a mobile phone, interacting with passengers and even felling sleepy during driving can distract our mind that lead us to an accident. I think we should avoid all these activities and concentrate on effective driving and other vehicles running on the road for safe driving purpose.
