GUJRANWALA, March 21 : Three persons including a police cop were injured in a bomb blast near police post, here on early Monday.
According to the police, unknown miscreants had planted explosives outside the Rail Bazaar Police chowki which went off with huge explosion on Monday morning.
As a result of blast wall of the police post was destroyed and three people including a police cop and two passer-bys were injured.
Rescue 1122 reached the site of the blast soon after getting information and initiated relief operation. The injured were shifted to nearby hospital where according to hospital sources their condition was out of danger.
The police cordoned off the area after the blast and launched search operation but no arrest was made.
