LAHORE, March 16 : A teenage girl committed suicide for unknown reasons, by hanging herself here in Qila Gujar Singh area on Wednesday.
According to parents of the deceased girl Arifa Kausar 18, early on Wednesday morning they knocked the door of room of their daughter but she did not respond after which they broke open the door.
They said that when the door was opened they saw body of their daughter hanging with the ceiling of the room. The body was shifted to hospital for post-mortem.
Police said that domestic dispute could be cause of the suicide but the family of the deceased has rejected the police claim saying, Arifa Kausar was satisfied with family members and they had not any quarrel or differences with her that could have forced her to take her life.
