LAHORE, March 23 : A robber was killed in an encounter with police in Shahdara Town area of Lahore on Wednesday.
Police said that some suspected persons in Shahdara Town were directed by police squad to stop for checking but they opened indiscriminate fire at police party.
The attack was retaliated immediately by police personnel and killed a robber while his other accomplices managed to flee from the spot. The deceased was shifted to hospital by police. Police started search to nab the remaining robbers
