Power load-shedding continues during World Cup semi-final match in Karachi

KARACHI, March 30 : Several areas of the city face power cuts as per routine, despite the Karachi Electric Supply Company's (KESC) announcement, in which it said there will be no load-shedding during the World Cup semi-final between Pakistan and India on Wednesday.

The areas include Saddar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar and others. On Tuesday KESC had announced that it would not cut power supply during the World Cup semi-final between the teams of Pakistan and India. The decision was made seeing immense interest of the people towards the match.

The people who were watching the crucial semi-final match between Pakistan and India observed protest against KESC when they disturbed the match due to load-shedding.
