KARACHI, March 10 : Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza of PPP on Thursday rejected to seek apology for declaring Peoples Amn Committee of Lyari as sister organization of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and said that he has not spoken anything objectionable.
Talking to media person outside the Parliament House, Mirza said that People Amn Committee is a social welfare organization and engaged wellbeing of the people in Lyari.
He said he was aware of the objectives of the committee, having a support of hundreds of committee members and its public support is increasing by each passing day," the home minister said.
Mirza admitted that there exists some criminal elements in almost all the political parties and said "we came to know that MQM has expelled some criminals from the party and we will also do the same if anyone found in our party".
Zulfiqar reiterated that we were trying to convince our brothers and friends of MQM that Peoples Amn Committee is a social organization and it will be unfair to dub the committee members as criminals.
The home minister confirmed that he will not seek apology for saying truth as he has no repentance to speak the truth.
