Minority community singer, two companions arrested for misbehaving with cops

LAHORE, March 16 : Police have arrested three persons, including a singer belonging to minority community, for misbehaving with cops during search at a check post.

According to police, it stopped a suspected vehicle at a check post located in the jurisdiction of Ghalib Market Police Station for search.

But three persons present in the vehicle did not cooperate with police and asked them to stay away from the vehicle.

Police blamed that Jassi Singh, a singer belonging to minority community, and his two companions who were drunk used abusive language and slapped a cop when they insisted for search.

The police arrested the three persons and took the vehicle into custody.

One the other hand, Jassi Singh when approached by media persons blamed that police cops maltreated him and his companions. He threatened to move the court against the police misbehaviour.
