LAHORE, March 01 : The increase in petroleum products prices was challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday. Advocate Mateenul Haq Chaudhry filed an application in the LHC challenging the government's decision of increase the POL prices.
The petitioner said the increase in POL prices is an additional burden on the masses and the court should pass an order against the increase.
It merits a mention here that the applicant has previously filed five applications regarding the increase in petroleum product prices which are still pending.
