FIA prosecutors denied permission of entering Adiyala Jail

RAWALPINDI, March 5 : Police stopped the Federal Investigation Agency prosecutors from entering Central Jail Rawalpindi (Adiyala jail) on Saturday.

FIA prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar told the media that accused in Benazir Bhutto murder case were to be charged today but the jail superintendent, Mohsin Rafiq, did not allow them to enter the jail. He accused the superintendent of intervening in the court's proceedings.

He asked the inspector general of prison to take action against the superintendent. The superintended said that FIA prosecutors wanted to take rangers' armed men to the court room. No armed man is allowed to enter the court, he added.
