RAWALPINDI, March 11 : Police on Friday arrested a burqa-clad terrorist and recovered a suicide jacket from his possession near traffic police office situated in Saddar area.
SP Traffic Potohar Town, Pervaiz Bindial said that the traffic warden on duty asked a burqa-clad suspect to stop but he ran away towards a taxicab. Police personnel at the spot arrested the suspect and shifted him to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
Police said a suicide vest was also recovered from his possession.
Meanwhile, police personnel launched a search operation in the city and arrested 50 suspects. The detainees were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
