Quetta :14 killed in Balochistan in various incidents including targeted attacks

QUETTA, Jan 08 : At least 14 persons were killed and 25 others injured in separate incidents of firing and accidents in Balochistan on Saturday.

In Shalakot area of Quetta, unidentified assailants opened fire at a car killing three riders on the spot and fled away from the scene.

In district Panjgoor, two bullet ridden bodies were recovered from a ditch who were kidnapped earlier and then killed. The dead bodies were shifted to hospital for autopsy. Levis authorities said that dead bodies were in mutilated condition and its hard to ascertain their identity.

In another incident, three people were killed and 15 others including women and children were injured when a Mastung bound speeding passenger bus turned turtle near provincial capital Quetta.

Two persons were killed in head-on collision between pickup and a truck in Muslim Bagh area.

One man was killed and 10 others injured in armed clash between two rival groups in Mach area of district Bolan.

Robbers gunned down two persons upon resistance in Gandakha area.

In Chaman a younger brother shot to death his elder brother over a domestic dispute.

One, Ghulam Sarwar was killed in firing of unidentified armed persons in Pak-Afghan border area of Balochistan.
