ISLAMABAD, Jan 04 : Two persons including mother and her son were scorched as a result of blast that occurred due to gas leakage in a house located on Simli Dam Road in Bahara Kahu near here on Monday night.
According the details the family of Ijaz, residing at Simly Dam Road had tuned on gas heater to keep them warm. However due to leakage, gas filled the room and when one of the family members on Monday-Tuesday midnight lit fire, there was a blast with a huge bang blowing up the roof of the house.
As a result of blast, wife and son of Ijaz were scorched. Car parked in porch of the house was also damaged.
The injured mother and son were shifted to burn unit of local hospital where according to hospital source their condition was stable.
