KHAIRPUR, Dec 24 : Gunmen attacked a house and killed a woman and her son from a rival family in village Kolab Jaittal of Khairpur on Thursday.
According to police, two families were in old enmity. On Friday, armed men from one tribe attacked a house belonging to the rival family, killing a woman and her son sleeping in the house.
The attackers fled away from the scene after the incident.
The bodies were shifted to local hospital for autopsy.
Police soon after getting the information reached the spot and cordoning off the areas launched search operation.
However, no arrest was made till the filing of this report.
