KASUR, Dec 07 : A woman was killed and her daughter was admitted to hospital in precarious condition after they attempted suicide by consuming poisonous pills due to poverty in Mustafabad area the city.
According to details Sughara Bibi, a resident of Mustafabad area of Kasur also mother of three children was facing problems due to poverty resulted by prolonged illness of her husband.
Poverty stuck Sughara Bibi and her daughter Anjum Bibi 16, attempted to commit suicide by consuming poisonous pills on Monday night.
Sughara Bibi and Anjum Bibi went unconscious due to consuming poisonous pills.
Other children present in the house informed neigbours about the situation who rushed the both to nearby hospital where Sughara Bibi expired while doctors saved the life of Anjum Bibi.
