DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Dec 03: Police foiled a terror plot and arrested five terrorists during a raid at a house in the suburb of the city on Friday.
According to sources, all the five terrorists were nabbed when police and other law enforcement agencies raided a house in Wanda Mochianwala area near Dera Township on Friday early morning.
Police also recovered suicide jackets, arms and drugs during the raid. The terrorists were shifted to unknown location for further investigation Sources added that police started a crackdown against miscreants in the district after the arrest of the five terrorists and arrested ten more
persons wanted by the police in different other subversive activities in the city.
According to police, the rounded up terrorists were used to brain washing, get the other persons drug addicts and later impart them training for carrying out suicide attacks. The police added that the terrorists wanted to launch suicide attacks on the religious gatherings during the month of Muharram and on the convoys of IDPs returning to Orakzai Agency.
After these arrests, security was further beefed up in the city as well to avert any untoward incident
