LARKANA, Dec 09: A large number employees of Population Welfare Department Larkana observed pen down strike against transfer of 128 employees and closure of 100 family Welfare Centers here on Thursday.
President APCA Population Welfare Department Sindh, Peeral Dayo strongly condemned the illegal transfer of employees and closure of centers in Sindh.
He said that officials of Population Welfare Department are being politically victimized. He said transferring of poor employees to other districts is injustice, he said.
President APCA called for immediate withdrawal of transfer orders and closure of FWC, regularize 3500 contract employees working since 1998 to 2009, restore son quota and other facilities, and threatened continue protest if their demands were not met.
