Sheikh Rashid meets Pagara

KARACHI, Dec 24: The Chief of Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) and veteran political leader Pir Sahib Pagara has said that assassins of Benazir Bhutto could not be accessed. He said that FIA probe into this high profile assassination is only wastage of time and resources.

Talking to media persons after meeting Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, who called on him here at Kingri House on Friday, Pir Pagara said the murderers of PPP's slain Chairperson could not be get into as they are at the place where nobody can net them.

Replying a question about heated up political situation after quitting the coalition government by JUI-F, Pir Pagara said Maulana Fazlur Rehman would not rejoin the incumbent setup.

To another question about the fate of Muttahida Muslim League, he said the process of merger of different factions of Muslim League is still in progress. He added that the nation would witness new political alliance after long march.

Speaking on this occasion, the AML chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said that decisions cannot be made at once and added that a stir has already been made in the political environment of the country. He said that a new mega scandal is due to surface which would further give shocks to already jolted government.

Replying a query about any amendment in Blasphemy Law, Sheikh Rashid said the entire nation is united over sanctity of Namoos-e-Risaalat while setting aside all their mutual differences.

He said the masses have fed up now of sky rocketing prices, poverty, unemployment and huge bills of gas and electricity despite their lengthy and unscheduled load shedding in the freezing temperature.

Awami Muslim League Chief said there is no political party in the country against whom corruption allegations were not leveled.
