LAHORE: Muslim League (N) leader Nawaz Sharif has said the revolution could not be achieved with hollow words. The creation of Pakistan was not meant to be slaves of the establishment.
Addressing PML-N workers convention here former prime minister said that 35 precious years after the independence of Pakistan were lost to military rule but the country can not afford any martial law anymore.
Nawaz said that the military rule was the major cause of the fall of Dhaka but now the violators of the constitution will be made accountable. Otherwise the country will face more devastation and the history will not forgive us, he said.
Nawaz said those who cease power through the backdoor should not talk about the law and the constitution.
