NATO oil tanker set on fire

JAMRUD, 06 : An oil tanker carrying oil for the NATO forces, stationed in Afghanistan, was set ablaze when bomb went off here at Jamrud area on Monday, official sources said.

According to details, some unidentified miscreants had planted a bomb near road side which went off with big bang, setting ablaze an oil tanker en-route to Afghanistan through Torkham border.

Rescue officials rushed to the spot and extinguish the fire. The tanker gutted completely, however, no loss of life was reported in the incident.

Law enforcement agencies cordoned off the entire area and started search to nab the culprits.
