History would not forgive politicians if failed to fulfill masses aspirations: Jhagra

ISLAMABAD, Dec 29 : Secretary General, Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that difference of opinions is beauty of democracy which ensures everyone to express views independently.

Talking to media persons here on Wednesday, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said that role of opposition in the democracy was to pin point flaws and drawbacks of government. He said at this critical juncture it was up to the government to
find out the reasons which annoyed the coalition partners and forcing them to part ways.

He said that the nation was well aware of the fact that PML-N politics always based focusing problems being faced by the country and its people and it has never compromised over the two issues.

Jhagra urged the political leadership to avoid criticism only for the sake of criticism and to concentrate on alleviating the hardships faced by the countrymen.

He said that masses have attached high hopes with the sitting government
but their hopes died down due to ill-framed and anti-masses policies and now the masses were looking towards opposition and other political parties for redressal of their grievances.

The PML-N leader warned that countrymen and history would not forgive them if political parties failed to fulfill masses aspirations this time.

To a question, Jhagra said the PML-N led Punjab government was doing good at its best for the people of Punjab and they were satisfied with performance of provincial government.
