SUKKUR, Dec 25 : Station House Officer (SHO) of Farid Dero police station was killed by enraged villagers when he was tortured in Nowshero Feroze area here on Saturday.
According to details, the SHO named Roshan Ali along with police party raided a house located in Farid Dero area for arresting an accused when a group of people attacked at him with clubs.
The enraged people started beating the SHO with clubs and as a result he died on the spot.
More police force was summoned which cordoned off the area and started to apprehend those responsible for the death of the SHO.
