Drone attacks victims file application to lodge FIR against CIA chief in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Dec 13 : The victims of US drone attacks in Pakistan filed an application in the Secretariat Police Station here on Monday to lodge FIR against the Pakistan-based Chief of the US spy agency, CIA, Jonathan Banks.

According to details, Karim Khan, a resident of North Waziristan Agency and victim of US drone strikes, filed the application against the CIA chief in Pakistan Jonathan Banks and accused him of murdering and attempted murder of the tribesmen.

Talking to media person Counsel of Karim Khan, Barrister Shahzad Akbar said, "we will submit another application to the Interior Ministry to include name of Jonathan Banks in the Exit Control List (ECL).

Barrister Shahzad added that over 2000 people had been killed in drone strikes so far whereas only 50 alleged high value targets were killed in these attacks.

Earlier, at least 14 victims and family members of those who lost their relatives in the drone strikes had staged protest demonstration in front of the Parliament House in Islamabad the other day and demanded compensation from the government of Pakistan bringing the culprits to the book. They also demanded immediate halt to the US drone strikes in tribal areas of the
country.
