LAHORE, Dec 13 : Enraged daily wagers and industrialists Monday took to streets and held protest demonstrations against Sui Gas authorities for prolonged and unscheduled load shedding here at Bund Road.
According to details hundreds of daily wagers of textile and other industries accompanied by industries owner held protest demonstration at Bund Road of Lahore against Sui Gas management for not following the announced gas load management schedule.
The protestors of the view that that due prolonged and unscheduled gas load shedding textile and others industries have led to verge of collapse.
They said that Sui gas management was not following the gas load management schedule they have prepared thereselves without consultation of the stakeholders.
The daily wagers said that gas load shedding has not hurt them most as they as were already at position of hand to mouth and a day break in the earning means depriving their families of one day meal.
The industrialists said that they were facing massive losses as gas load shedding has halted their production and they are falling short to fulfill demands.
They also demanded the provincial and federal governments for bounding Sui Gas Authorities to follow the gas load shedding schedule.
