FAISALABAD, Dec 24 : A man was killed during a robbery attempt on Friday after which locals placed the dead body on the road and demonstrated against the local police.
According to details, robbers attempted to rob a youth Rafaqat near Bhagwanpura area of Faisalabad and shot him to death upon resistance.
The robber managed to flee from the scene after the incident.
The bereaved family placed his body at Sheikhupura Road and staged a protest setting tires on fire.
They also ransacked nearby shops and blocked the road for several house.
They were demanding immediate arrest of the robbers.
The mob dispersed after successful negotiations with police.
