RAWALPINDI, Dec 28 : Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited Karachi Garrison on Tuesday.
While addressing officers of the Karachi Garrison, the Chief of Army Staff spoke about the domestic and regional security issues and also dilated upon the ongoing military operations to restore normalcy in terrorism affected areas of the Country.
He also lauded rescue and relief efforts undertaken by various Army Formations during recent floods.
On arrival, COAS was received by Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Muhammad Zahir Ul Islam.
