RAWALPINDI, Dec 07 : Around 50 suspects were nabbed by law enforcement agencies during search operations launched in Sangjani and Tarnol areas on Tuesday, police sources said.
Police along with intelligence agencies were purging various suspected areas and during search operation in Sangjani and Tarnol areas at least 50 suspects were apprehended.
The suspects were shifted to respective police station for investigation and the innocent will be freed after investigation while the criminals will go under process, SHO Tarnol Police Station said.
Sources said that police and intelligence agencies were considering various areas where militants might be hiding and were raiding the suspected areas to ensure security during Maharram. The intelligence sources revealed that militants could target various spots during Maharram to destabilize the country by fanning sectarianism.
