20 militants killed, 25 injured in SF attack

HANGU, Dec 30 : At least 20 extremists were killed and another 25 were injured as security forces Thursday bombed their hideouts in Chinark area of Central Kurram Agency.

Sources said that Pak army gunship helicopters targeted suspected hideouts of extremists in Chinark area of Kurram Agency destroying six hideouts completely.

At least 20 extremists were reported killed and 25 others injured in security forces actions.

The security sources said that death toll might be higher as several extremists were stated, buried under the rubble of destroyed hideouts.

Meanwhile security forces destroyed an explosive laden vehicle in the same area.

It should be mentioned that security forces have struck the Chinark, considered to be strong hold of militants, several times during past one week killing more than 50 extremists besides destroying number of their hideouts.
