PESHAWAR, Dec 20: At least two persons including a child were killed and six others were wounded when some unidentified armed men opened fire on a minor verbal clash here on Monday.
According to police sources, some unidentified armed men opened fire on a minor verbal clash between a property dealer and an owner of a marble factory in village Daag in the jurisdiction of Mathra Police Station at Warsak Road.
As a result of the indiscriminate firing by the unknown people, two personsincluding a child lost their life whereas six others sustained injuries on the spot. The attackers managed to flee from the scene after committing dual murder.
All the dead bodies and injured were shifted to Lady Ready Hospital where one of the injured was stated to be in critical condition.Police registered the case against the unknown assailants and launched investigation.
